Snowflake Chocolate Suckers
Here in sunny So. Cal we are hard pressed to find anything that resembles a snowflake. The closest I can get are these chocolaty snowflakes. I made one with white confection that is dyed blue and the other is milk confection.
They make great party favors if you are doing a 'winter' theme.
If you are interested in the recipe let me know and I'll post it.
Enjoy, Sonia

Pilgrim Chocolate Sucker Recipe
These Pilgrim suckers make great table favors. Put a personalised label on the back with something you are grateful for. I like to package them in a cello bag and use colorful fall ribbon to tie them closed.
The recipe below is from the Autumn chapter of my book Chocolates By Imagination Fall and Winter. Enjoy!
Melt the white and milk coatings together in a large microwave safe bowl as on page 20. Stir well. You should have a tan color of coatings. Using a spoon, fill the pilgrim favors with the tan coatings, being careful not to overfill. Tap the mold on the counter to remove air bubbles and level the coatings. Place a six inch paper stick into each favor making sure the stick is at least two inches into the coatings. Roll the stick with your finger so the top portion is covered with coatings. Refrigerate 15 to 20 minutes or until the pilgrims release easily from mold. Repeat until you have the desired number of favors.
Melt the dark coatings in a small microwave safe bowl on 50% power for 30 seconds. Stir. Repeat until melted. Using a medium skewer apply the dark coatings for the eyes. Let dry completely. Package with a cello bag and holiday ribbon.

2 cups white coatings 1 girl pilgrim mold
2 cups milk coatings 1 boy pilgrim mold
¼ cup dark coatings 12 six inch paper sticks
12 three inch cello bags

Ten more days until Thanksgiving, Wow!
They say the older you get the faster time goes..
I love this three dimensional chocolaty Cornucopia. I like to fill it with chocolate molded pumpkins and corn. It makes a wonderful gift and works great as a table decoration on
your Thanksgiving table.

Fall Leaf Favors of White Chocolate
White Chocolate Fall Leafs |
I have a small reunion party coming up next week and I am going to make these yummy Fall Leafs for the party favors. They look great in a cello bag tied with raffia. One at each place setting will really decorate the table. The Fall Leafs are also a wonderful Thanksgiving Day party favor. Try displaying them in a clay pot and using it as a center piece. When your party is over have each guest pick one.

Chocolate Pumpkin Box
I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween. I have several Fall chocolates I want to share this year. This chocolate Pumpkin Box makes a great fall gift. I filled it with a Dipped Cookie and some candy corn. The mold for this box is very good and causes this box to be simple to make.
