White Chocolate Roses

Mother's Day is May 13th. Twenty days from now...Yikes!  Here are some simple yet elegant roses made with white chocolate coatings that have been colored with oil based dye.
As you can see in this picture you can use a variety of colors. Pick Mom's favorite and make her a dozen.
Simply melt the white chocolate coatings on  low heat in the microwave, add a small amount of dye and pour into the mold.
Try placing the roses in a cello bag and decorate them with a beautiful ribbon.
I like to display them in a clay pot.

This recipe and many others are avalible in my cookbook 'Spring and Summer'

Festival of Books

Went to the Festival of Books on Saturday. Fantastic Venue. Over took the entire USC campus. Met some wonder people, received complimentary books signed from the Authors. Had a great day. Thanks Jodi for joining me.
